How it works
Amazon has the silver Blendura digital luggage scale for £3.63. It hooks onto a suitcase handle so you can check the weight before leaving home, with an LCD display and measurements in kilograms or pounds. The stated capacity is up to 50kg, and the listing includes button batteries, making this a low-cost travel accessory rather than a large household scale.
It could be particularly useful when you are close to an airline’s baggage allowance and want to avoid repacking at the airport. Delivery may add to the cost unless your order qualifies for free shipping, so check the total rather than just the item price. Use the scale within its stated limit and lift luggage safely. Airlines use their own scales and rules, so a home reading is a useful guide rather than a guarantee that a bag will be accepted.

Under £4 is well worth having in the drawer before packing for summer holidays. Saves getting hit by ridiculous airline overweight luggage charges at check-in.
