Mailing-list updates
We use your email address to send Ways2Earn launch news and community updates only after you confirm it. We record your consent, confirmation and subscription status. Every update includes an unsubscribe link.
Unconfirmed signup requests expire after 24 hours. We remove expired pending addresses after 30 days. Unsubscribed addresses are retained only to honour the opt-out, unless you ask us to delete them. We do not sell the mailing list.
Community accounts
We use your email address to confirm a new account and send essential account messages. An email/password account cannot be used until the confirmation link is opened. Profiles, posts and comments you publish are visible to everyone. Saved finds, earnings and support requests are private to your account; support messages can also be read by moderators. Do not post private account details.
If you choose Apple or Facebook sign-in, that provider shares an account identifier and, if available, your name and email address with us. We use these to create or connect your Ways2Earn account and do not post to your provider account. Provider accounts are not automatically joined to an existing Ways2Earn account with the same email; you must connect them while signed in. You can continue to use email sign-in instead. Apple and Meta process the sign-in under their own privacy policies.
Private conversations can normally be read only by their participants. If you report another member from a conversation, you can choose whether to attach a snapshot of up to the latest 200 messages. Only the moderation team can view that attached evidence. Blocking a member is private: the blocked member is not notified.
Mobile sessions and Apple authorization
The app keeps its sign-in token in secure device storage. If you enable push notifications, we associate an Apple push token with your account to deliver your chosen alerts. We store Apple sign-in refresh tokens encrypted in private server storage, with a separate private encryption key, so we can revoke the authorization when you close your account. We do not use these tokens for advertising or post to your Apple account.
Closing your account
You can close your account in My account on the website or Account → Close account in the app. This deletes your profile information, authored posts and comments, uploaded images, sent private messages, support requests, earnings, saved finds, alerts and notification settings from the active service, and removes any mailing-list subscription using the same email. Empty, anonymised placeholders may remain to preserve other members’ replies and prevent old sessions from reopening the account; they do not retain your authored content. Other people’s own messages are not deleted.
Connected Apple authorization is revoked before deletion. Older Apple accounts may require another Apple sign-in first. If revocation fails, the account stays intact so you can retry. Anonymous site statistics
We count page views and estimate the number of daily visitors so we can understand which parts of Ways2Earn are useful and improve the service. These statistics are first-party and are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, profiling or decisions about individual visitors. These statistics are separate from optional Google Analytics cookies.
For the daily estimate, each IP address is immediately converted into a one-way identifier that changes with the UK calendar day. We do not write the original address to the analytics database. A shared connection may count several people as one, while a changing address may count one person more than once. Daily identifiers are deleted after the date changes; page and daily visitor totals are retained for up to 13 months. Visits from the site owner’s specified IP address are excluded.
You can object free of charge at any time. Turning analytics off stores one preference cookie on this browser for one year. It does not affect essential security records or your ability to use the site.
Optional Google Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public pages, traffic sources, devices and approximate locations. It uses browser identifiers, including _ga cookies, for up to six months. Google processes this information and may process it outside the UK, including in the United States. How Google uses information from sites using its services.
Google Analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics. Advertising storage and personalisation are disabled. We do not send account IDs, emails, private messages, earnings, form contents or search terms. Private account pages and staff visits are not measured. Visits from the specified site-owner IP addresses are excluded. Public page URLs are sent without query strings or fragments. Reports are estimates of browsers, not a count of individual people.
You can withdraw consent here at any time. This stops future Google measurement and removes Analytics cookies from this browser; it does not erase information already processed by Google. Your choice is remembered for six months. Refusing cookies does not prevent you using Ways2Earn.
Google Analytics is not accepted on this browser.
Cookies and security
Essential session cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. Limited request records are used to prevent abuse.
Choosing Hide intro or Show intro saves a preference cookie on this browser for up to one year. It remembers only your display choice.
