Evri: earn per-parcel delivery fees on a local courier round
Self-employed local parcel rounds with monthly bank payments; compare the agreed rate and workload with your vehicle and running costs.

How it works
Evri recruits self-employed couriers for local parcel rounds, with payment based on the agreed parcel rate rather than a universal fixed hourly wage. Your return depends on the area, parcel volume, route and time spent working. Apply through the official recruitment page and discuss the available round and expected commitment before agreeing. Payments are made monthly by BACS, with invoices available through the Courier Community App. This is an option for someone comfortable with regular delivery work rather than occasional online tasks.
You need permission to work self-employed in the UK, a compatible smartphone and access to a properly insured car or van with the relevant licence. Allow for sorting, loading, failed deliveries and administration as well as time on the road. You pay your own fuel, maintenance and other business costs and handle tax and National Insurance. Evri describes optional daily top-up insurance, but ask for its charges, exclusions and compatibility with your existing policy before relying on it. Evri Plus has separate commitment and benefit conditions; do not assume those apply to every courier arrangement. Check local vacancies before incurring costs.
