How it works
Tesco’s Christmas Markets are returning with free food and drink samples and festive inspiration at participating stores. This could be a useful little extra during a planned grocery trip, rather than a reason to travel a long distance for an uncertain sample. The official event website has a location finder so you can check whether your local store is taking part and which dates apply.
Check your specific store’s event listing before setting off: these pop-ups are not open at every Tesco or every day. The site gives standard hours of 11.30am–7pm Monday to Saturday and 11.30am–4pm Sunday, with local Sunday hours potentially differing. Samples and participating brands may vary, and supplies are limited. Ask staff about ingredients and allergens rather than assuming a small sample is suitable. Entry and samples are free; any shopping you choose to do is separate.
