How it works
Bloomsbury is offering a free downloadable event kit for Harry Potter Book Day 2026, themed around Spells and Potions. It brings together activity, costume, decoration and game ideas, making it useful for a family afternoon, a reading group or a school or library celebration. The official event was on 8 October, but the publisher’s registration page is still available, so you can use the material for your own get-together rather than having to celebrate on that date.
Fill in the official form with your name, email address, country and the type of event you are organising; there is an individual option for people using it at home. Registering allows Bloomsbury to contact you about the event, as explained beside the form. This is digital material, not a posted gift or a free set of novels. Any printing, craft supplies or refreshments are your own costs, and the kit can be adapted to the space and age group you have.
