How it works
Leicestershire County Council is funding free Saturday travel on its supported bus services through 2 January 2027. Participating routes use LC, HC or MC service numbers, including links between several county towns and neighbouring destinations. Residents and visitors can use the offer: board an included service and the driver issues a ticket showing a £0 fare. No purchase of a paid pass is stated as a condition.
Check the official participating-service list and timetable before setting off, particularly for the return journey. This is not free travel on every commercial bus in Leicestershire, and a connection onto another service may still cost money. There are no services under this offer on Saturday 26 December; the promotion therefore includes 2 January instead. FoxConnect has a separate Saturday discount of 50%, not a free fare, so do not confuse it with the included fixed routes. Travel and admission costs at your destination remain your responsibility.
