How it works

iShopFor Ipsos recruits UK mystery shoppers to assess customer service through visits, calls and online tasks. Registration is free, and each assignment shows its fee and reimbursement allowance before you accept. This is a separate opportunity from Ipsos iSay surveys: you follow a specific brief, make observations and submit a report. Ipsos lists a minimum age of 18, a smartphone with internet access and a UK bank account among its requirements. Its UK mystery-shopping operation also has recognised MSPA industry membership.

Read the instructions and complete the task quiz before going ahead, then keep any required receipts or evidence. Some assignments require you to spend your own money first, so compare the fee with travel costs and the reimbursement cap; reimbursement is not extra profit. The UK FAQ describes weekly payment processing after quality checks, rather than immediate payment when you submit a report. Tasks depend on location and suitability, and incomplete work may not qualify. Keep assignment details confidential and use the official site to avoid impersonators.
