How it works
Reedsy connects authors with freelance editors, designers, ghostwriters, marketers, translators and web designers. UK professionals can apply and carry out suitable projects remotely, setting their own quotes and availability. It is free to apply and list, but admission is selective. Requirements vary by specialism: editors generally need at least three years of relevant professional experience, traditional-publishing experience and evidence of work on five recent published books, with limited alternatives. The freelancer commission is 10% of each project fee, with payment-processing charges deducted separately.
