Test for SAM recruits consumers to help researchers understand how products perform in real life. The UK panel offers home-use studies around the country as well as sessions at its Reading and Nottingham centres, covering things such as food, drinks and personal-care products. You complete a profile and answer project questions so the team can match you to suitable tests. People aged 16 and over can have their own profile; younger participants need to be included through an adult.
The reward depends on the study. Home trials can offer gift vouchers, the products themselves or a combination, while the panel describes a typical on-site test of up to an hour as paying around £15. Read the invitation for the actual incentive and any follow-up questionnaires before accepting. Available projects appear in the portal and invitations can arrive by email, but joining does not guarantee a place: researchers need particular consumer groups and may prioritise people who have not tested recently.
