UK paid survey sites compared: rewards, cash-out rules and the catches
Compare all 28 survey-panel opportunities listed on Ways2Earn: cash, vouchers, points, specialist research and the conditions that affect whether they are worthwhile.
| Service / opportunity post | What you do | Rewards and payment | Eligibility and main checks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Answerpoints | Answerpoints offers points that may go towards vouchers or prize draws. A prize draw is a chance to win, not guaranteed payment. |
| Branded Surveys | The panel uses your profile to suggest surveys and shows the reward attached to each one. Compare the point value and expected duration before choosing what to complete. | Rewards vary. Cash or gift cards | Eligible UK panel members. |
| Google Opinion Rewards | This is an option for Android users who prefer occasional quick questions to a full survey panel. Invitations are irregular, and the reward may be Google Play credit rather than cash. | Play credit varies. Google Play credit | Compatible Android device and eligible Google account. The listed Android opportunity pays Play credit, not withdrawable cash. |

| Pureprofile | Pureprofile can be used through its website or app, making it convenient for shorter gaps in the day. Screening is part of survey panels, so keep track of completed rather than merely opened surveys. | Cash varies. Cash after threshold | Eligible UK members. |
| Qmee | Qmee combines surveys with an optional browser-search feature. Compare the reward and estimated length before accepting a survey, since screening can end it early. | Small cash rewards. PayPal or gift cards | Eligible UK members. |
| Survey Friends | This is a points-based survey panel, so the useful comparison is points earned versus time spent. Check its current gift-card catalogue and redemption threshold before committing. | Vouchers vary. Gift cards | Eligible UK panel members. |

How to use the full comparison
The A–Z table includes every existing post in this category, not just three selected services. Each service name links to its Ways2Earn opportunity, where you can read the fuller explanation and community comments. The Official sources list contains exactly one direct provider link per service. Categories reflect the posts already on the site; they are not a claim that every service offers the same type of work.
Compare the reward you can actually use, the route to redemption and whether your profile is eligible. Cash panels, voucher panels and prize draws are not equivalent. VoicED targets education professionals and Vanson Bourne targets business or IT professionals, while Take Part in Research offers selected, more involved research rather than a steady stream of short surveys.
“Varies” means there is no single rate or reward rule established here, not that all services pay equally. A quoted project range is not a typical monthly income. Ask for the exact incentive, payment method, approval conditions and deadline before accepting a study, and include unsuccessful screening, travel and administration in your time calculation.
The short answer: choose the reward you actually want
These are established research services with identifiable operators and published participant information, but that does not make every task worthwhile for every person. Start with the payment method, not the biggest promotional claim. If you need withdrawable money, a voucher you would not otherwise use is a poor substitute. If you regularly shop at the voucher retailer, it may be useful—but avoid spending extra just to use a reward.
There is no defensible universal “best earner” here. Your profile, available studies, screening time and willingness to share information all affect the result. This guide compares the rules we could verify, not how much a typical member earns per month.
Calculate your return—including the unsuccessful attempts
Use this calculation: reward value ÷ all minutes spent × 60. For illustration only, £3 of usable rewards earned over 25 minutes equals £7.20 per hour. If screening and administration add another 20 minutes, the same £3 works out at £4 per hour. These are hypothetical calculations, not measured results for any provider.
Try a small number of services rather than opening dozens of accounts. Keep a two-week record of completed tasks, unsuccessful screening, total time, approved rewards and money or vouchers actually received. A high dashboard balance is not the same as a completed payout. Stop using a service if your actual return or its data requests are not acceptable to you.
Before you join
Use the genuine UK provider site, a unique password and truthful profile details. Check current age and residence rules: this comparison is written for adult UK readers and does not establish that every panel accepts every adult applicant. Never pay a third party to unlock surveys, and never give another member your passwords or security codes.
Research participation can involve sensitive questions. Read the study’s consent and privacy information and decline work you are uncomfortable with. Keep records of rewards received, and consult the linked earnings-records guide for official tax guidance. Small rewards are not automatically tax-free.
A worthwhile survey service is one whose rewards you can use, whose data requests you accept, and whose actual return justifies your time—not simply one with lots of invitations.
