If you live in the UK you can now get access to your credit report completely free with Noddle. Noddle is run by CallCredit, one of the 3 main credit agencies, so they can give you an accurate report of your score and information about all of your financial accounts, linked addresses, late payments, CCJs etc.

If you see anything out of place with your record, you can also contact them and get them to amend it if it's incorrect, which is very useful because it avoids you being affected when trying to take out credit.

Noddle does have adverts for credit cards and things like that but you are under absolutely no obligation to purchase anything at all and you get a free new credit report every month. I just use it to keep an eye on my score to make sure it's still healthy.
